On the power head there is a screw that is called the open force screw. You will turn this screw counter clockwise. When the screw stops turning, you need to open the garage door. There is also a close force screw. Turn this screw counterclockwise and press the close button on th4e garage door. Repeat this process until the door close properly.

It is also easy to adjust the amount of force that it takes to open or close the door. This requires an adjustment of the minimum force setting.
